Hi Everyone,
I’m attending the Craft & Hobby Show in Anaheim, California, and have spent the past few days delightedly reconnecting with old friends, signing books, teaching workshops, doing demonstrations and giving ‘make-n-takes’. The photo below was taken at Sakura’s booth during the make-n-take I gave Monday afternoon.

Attendees tried their hand doing ‘rainbow lettering’ with Sakura’s awesome metallic gelly roll pens on Strathmore’s wonderful black ArtAgain paper. Artist Sharon Belknap shows off the lovely ‘Peace’ she made in the photo below.

My talented friends Jennifer Priest and Debbie Cole both came by… 

as did the ever-delightful Marisa Pavelko.


One of the highlights of the show was seeing long-time friend Suze Weinberg, who was one of my first friends in the industry. Suze and I decided that we’ve known each other for more than 30 years… which is definitely worth celebrating.

Sakura is also celebrating… so in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Gelly Roll I used Moonlight Gelly Rolls to create a special sign.

Another BIG highlight of CHA 2015 was seeing all the new Zenspirations rubberstamps that Impression Obsession just introduced, on the central panel of their booth!

  10. Really wish I had known about the CHA sooner as I would of gone there in a heartbeat to check out all the neat demos, make-n-takes, and just immerse myself in the creativity aspects. I Love anything creative and artistic so I would of been like a kid in a candy store. Guess I'll plan for the next years event to attend it for sure.

    And, yes, more pictures, please. I so miss being there!
