Hi Everyone,
I want to welcome all the newcomers to the Zenspirations blog– especially those who came from Debbie Cole’s Creative Innovations Facebook group. I look forward to getting to know you, and to learning what calls to your soul. You can let me know what you’d like to read about in this blog by leaving a comment… I’d love to know what inspires you.
One of the things which inspires me is when I discover someone starting an innitiative which touches hearts and makes the world a better place. And when I happen to know that person– WOW! Then I’m inspired, impressed and empowered! My friend Susan Birnbaum of Design Design is pioneering a new holiday– Thank You Thursday– and I like the concept so much that I wanted to share it with you.
Thank You Thursday encourages each of us to send hand-written notes (no e-mails or texts!) to people who did something nice for us. It’s a great way to show that you care.
I recently heard someone say that Gratitude can’t just be an Attitude– it has to be a Practice… so I invite you to join me on Thursdays as I write notes to the special people in my life. It’s a great way to stay grounded in gratitude, feel connected with those you love, and practice your writing (and drawing!) skills. This week I’ll be sending a note to my friend Debbie Cole to thank her for sharing about Zenspirations all last week.
If Thank You Thursday resonates with you, please share the concept… if you are posting or blogging about it you are welcome to use either of the Thank You Thursday images to help spread the word.
There is always something to be grateful for… and tonight I’m grateful for Susan, who has started something meaningful and exciting, I’m grateful for Debbie and my other wonderful friends, and I’m especially grateful for you!
Stay Zenspired,
Joanne

Love this idea!
I'm going to do it!!!
Thank you so much for all your wonderful thoughts and ideas. I have become addicted to your style of creating, and have a box full of cards I have made using your style. Look forward to your blog each time you post!
I love, love, love this idea!! I am a snail mailer at heart and always look for a good excuse to send someone a note! This is perfect!!
what a thoughtful thing to do! Love the idea! I know how much ''happy mail'' puts a smile on my face and makes my heart happy, so this is right up my alley! Thank you!
Truthfully – inspiration comes from people such as yourself. When I watch a youtube and listen to your voice while you are creating letters and designs, I could sit and watch all day… It then inspires me to create my own words and designs on my own journal (however pathetic it is), it is inspiring! Thank you!
This is wonderful idea. Susan is definitely on to something here. I'm going to give it a try. All of my family members (with the exception of immediate ones) live far away in other states. This is the perfect excuse to send them an I'm thinking of you or Thank you just for being you type of card. I love it!
thankyou for sharing the beautiful tree on this blog
